I recently had a Total Hip Replacement done by Dr. Steven Kahane. At 7 weeks, I am back to doing normal activities that have been on hold for many years. I can walk up to 5km daily without any problems and my gait feels completely natural. I cannot thank Dr Kahane and his team enough for the excellent procedure done at the Gold Coast Private Hospital. When Dr Kahane's receptionist/secretary rang me with the time and date for my Total Knee Replacement consultation I sensed a positive vibe from her friendly voice. At the pre - operation consultation a smiling Dr Kahane came to the waiting room to introduce himself as Steven. To say that my wife and I felt very relaxed and comfortable with Dr Kahane is an understatement. All my questions about the operation including pre -op exercises, the follow up requirements and expectations including physio were answered without hesitation. My "TKR" was performed mid February, 2023. My post op consultation was today and all goals have been reached or exceeded due to Dr Kahane and his team of professionals. When the time comes that I require a 'TKR' on the other knee I will not hesitate to call Dr Kahane. Thank you
What an awesome Dr and surgeon, everything was explained to me about procedure that was being done. Excellent bedside manner, highly rate Dr Kahane and his talented staff. I had a total hip replacement 4 weeks ago and went for my check up and been given my clearance to go back to work which is in construction……that has to be because of the excellence he and staff did for my operation. Totally recommend him……. Thankyou
I had a hip replacement with Dr Kahane late last year and I’m very grateful and happy patient. I was feeling very daunted and overwhelmed before I met with him. In our initial consult I felt a sense of ease as every aspect of what he had planned was explained thoroughly. If I had any questions I could call his secretary and I would have answers that day.
